Converse Electric is one of a few companies locally with a prefabrication construction process that ensures job site cleanliness, while saving customers money. This sets our work apart, but we don’t cut corners. As part of the process, there are standardization and quality control checks that may not happen in the field.
The prefabrication process begins with measuring and cutting materials in-house. If there are leftover items, it’s easier to figure out the best way to use them during the assembly process, instead of rushing at a job site. Our apprentice electricians gain hands-on experience in the pre-fab shop as part of training. Totes are delivered to a work site with only the materials needed, which reduces waste and leaves a job site cleaner. This process improves productivity, impacting a customer’s bottom line. We’re able to staff fewer people at a job site because it’s more organized, which saves on unnecessary labor costs.
